The money just keeps on spending....

I'm getting a new 70-200mm F2.8L IS lens. Ordered from Cameras Direct. Really cheap price. Cheaper than the cost price for some of the other retailers. They said that they must be importing them themselves. Which I would imagine they are considering the name of the company. I'm playing it safe and got the 3 year warranty. It was only $50 more so why not.

The wedding I did recently went reasonably well considering:
a) It was my first paid gig
b) The groom was in hospital the day before
c) The poor bride had the flu
d) The light was below average

I managed to get a few good photos and I'll put some up here once I get permission from the bride and groom.

I've got another wedding in October, so I get to take my new lens and what I learnt from this wedding and try and do an even better job!! I'll be keen to talk to other photographers that have had to deal with really crappy light to learn how they handled it.
